For sale is my 1973 15″ fletcher arrow flight I brought this boat last year as a project but have never got round to it. It has a 70hp 2stroke Johnson (original engine) that runs fine and can be seen running. What’s needed to get the boat in the water. The steering cable has snapped so a new one required I have removed the seats to recover them but not got round to it so they require recovering and reinstalling Ski pole needs re attaching Other then that the boats in good condition for its age. I bought this boat last year with the view of restoring it, but i never seem to have the time to work on it. The outside of the boat seems ok and water tight, but the inside requires work as can be seen in the photo`s. I have made a start and everything i have taken off i have kept. I have not had the motor running but it turns over ok. i took the plugs out, gave each cylinder a squirt of light oil and turned it over then put the plugs back in. The trailer is made by Fox marine trailers but requires some repair. I towed the boat about 25 mile home when i bought it so it is strong enough to tow but has some holes in the chassis which will require welding. The tyres where badly cracked and flat, i pumped them up to get me home but since changed them for some used better tyres. I have the missing mudguard and the original canvas press stud cover but it is only good enough for a pattern to make a new one from. My intention was to buy a modern trailer for it as they are lighter and plenty on ebay for sale, but the original would repair. I have the chrome water skiing towing bracket for the boat but again will need work at the bottom (out of sight) as i had to cut it to get the fuel tank out, but the chrome is in really good condition. I rang Fletcher for some info on the boat giving them the serial number (see picture) they told me it is a 1974 model and originally sold with a 75hp motor, so someone has fitted the bigger 85hp motor at some point. It is a real shame and would make a great project for someone who has the time for it. If sold cash on pick up please and buyer to collect. Here we have a lovely example of a sought after Fletcher Faro cabin cruiser. we have totally refurbished her to a very high standard. The brand new front seats work really well as they save space and can swivel round to face the rear when stopping for lunch etc. Included in the sale are the two original front seats. We kept these as we know that some people prefer original on an classic boat. The two front seats are red, white and grey leather, as was the bench seat at the rear. We had this coloured to match the new front seats. The carpet is brand new and is fully waterproof, slip proof for out door use. The cuddy has been insulated, relined and all seats covered in faux leather. There is also low voltage LED lighting. The deck has plenty of stow space along each side with LED floor lighting.There is a cd stereo with brand new water proof 6 ins speakers which produce a lovely quality sound. The engine is a Mariner 75 hp two stroke oil injected ( so pre mixes the fuel) and starts on the button.This pushes the boat along nicely. It also has power tilt and trim. Included in the sale is a Lowrance x-4 fish/ depth finder. The trailer is a Snipe break back so has a pin that can be pulled for easy launching. The trailer is in good road worthy condition, has new bearings and the breaks have just been serviced. As you can see by the pictures, the antifouling needs to be re done, however this will be done next weekend. Fully working nav lights. The hull is solid, and is perfect for the sea or river. Comes with a blue canvas boat cover. This is a fantastic boat, everything works as it should and it’s totally ready to go! FLETCHER OPEN BOW 17. this boat runs well have been using it over the bank holiday with out any problems at all. Thee are few marks under the hull from being used on the beach. The trailer is only 18 months old and of full euro spec.Some of the bow seats the seams are parting.Has wake board bar as seen in photo,s. Fletcher Arrow flyte GTO Have owned the boat 2 years and have had lots of fun days out, I have used on river Thames and on sea trips to isle of white and in Devon Engine is a 1996 60hp Mariner (Dont buy a cheap boat with a 60’s/70’s engine they will breakdown …) This happened to me hence the £2.3k spent on this outboard. Power tilt and trim. Serviced with new plugs,water prop,propeller,carbs cleaned and complete re-wire to tidy up. The boat has 2 new fuel tanks(25l) which one has been installed in front for weight . Boat has new speedo and rev dials. Brand new battery The seats are good condition(fold into sunbeds) and interior has been done by myself the white marine vinyl 1 year old looks smart. The depth gauge and fish finder come with sale all wired in. The sound system is a aux system which is amplified and runs 2 front waterproof speakers . Here is my Glastron G1700 Bowrider speedboat + Mariner 135 + Galvanised trailer which I have owned and used for the last four years . BOAT:- Glastron bowrider 17ft long , walkthrough screen , Ski pole , teleflex steering , inboard tank with aftermarket fuel filter/water trap , battery isolator , stereo , rev counter , speedo , fuel gauge , engine temp gauge and voltmeter, floor stowage compartment . Original gelcoat underneath in good conditiion , topside all good [ couple of scratches on the graphics – nothing bad ] interior , although not perfect in pretty good condition . Very pretty boat , turns heads , Handles very well on the water . I can launch and recover this on my own . ENGINE:- Mariner 135hp 2.0ltr v6 . Power trim , oil injection , stainless prop recent new impellor + gear oil + plugs . What can I say , runs beautifully , very sweet , absolutely purrs with no rattles or issues , very smooth. TRAILER:- Galvanised , break back , great rollers and bunks , decent winch , jockey , wheels tyres and gaurds. Sealed for life wheel brgs with proper marine bearing grease . Brakes removed . There you have it , all in all a nice outfit.
