Welcome to the auction of my much loved Fletcher Bravo GTO. This boat wants for nothing and is ready to go anywhere in the UK on a fully refurbished trailer with some fun toys included. Fast, easy to launch single handed and great family fun. The BoatI compound polished the hull last year and her gelcoat gleams. Overall the gelcoat is in great condition, there is the odd light scuff below the waterline which is expected for a boat her age. I replaced all the windows last year with smoked perspex to match the original design, I also replaced all the interior vinyl panels and carpets and installed a bilge pump with a stainless steel through hull skin fitting. She has a marine VHF radio and antenna fitted, the Cobra DSC (GPS) radio is not included in the sale but will sell separately for £110. There is a mounting bracket for an auxiliary outboard. There is a 4hp Yamaha outboard which could be purchased separately. There is a 30L fuel tank and I am including the original Yamaha 10L tank. I replaced the GTO decal on the front of the boat. There is a stainless steel swim ladder / boarding ladder which I’ve removed but have the fixings for it to be re-attached if required. The seats are in great condition for their age, no obvious signs of tears. The front seats are really great fitting bucket seats and the rear seats are half buckets. Really comfortable and you feel really secure at speed. The EngineThese Yamaha 2 stroke 85HP engines are famous for their reliability, this one is no exception. As you can see, under the cover, the engine is immaculate. She always starts first time, including this year after being winterised for 6 months. The prop is in great condition and has been recently resprayed. I had the engine serviced every year by a Yamaha Marine Service Centre, with the exception of last year when there was a small problem with idle speed adjustment and the tell tale, both of which they resolved when they replaced the impeller and thermostat. The engine has probably only run 10 hours since its last full service in 2017. Compression on all three cylinders is c. 115llbs psi Included in the sale is the original owners handbook, early years service history, original yamaha toolkit, installation guide for the remote, some lightly used spark plugs and a hardly used spare impeller. The battery is 18 months old, works like new and gets a maintenance charge periodically over winter or when not is use. When in sea water she gets fully flushed with fresh water, the last two years has probably spent more time in fresh water than salt. She gets winterised at the end of every season, plugs replaced, carbs drained, cylinders oiled etc. The TrailerThe trailer is made from box steel is bunked and really solid. Originally braked, this year I replaced the hubs with Knott Heavy Duty 750KG un-braked hubs with sealed for life bearings, designed for boat trailers. I’ve just done a 120 mile round trip and she tows perfectly. All nuts and bolts on the trailer have been replaced with A2/A4 stainless steel and predominantly nyloc bolts. Last year I replaced the mudguards with galvanized steel ones. The outside surfaces of the trailer have been treated with POR-15 rust inhibitor and the insides with Dinitrol. The trailer has running boards either side of the wheels which I replaced with 18mm marine ply and varnished. The tyres are both new, probably only done a couple of hundred miles. A spare wheel is included in the sale but the tyre on the spare needs repaired or replaced. Toys / ExtrasWater-skis – these aren’t new and came with the boat when I bought her. I’ve not used themDo-nut – this also came with the boat, it inflates ok, although I’ve not used itLines, Ropes – there’s a range of lines for mooring, pulling skis, do-nut and a 20m line for extended launchingFenders – there are three fendersAnchors – there are 2, one Danforth with 2m of chain and c. 6m of rode, the other is a lightweight Grapnel with 6m rode.Covers – there are three covers. 2 light weight covers used to keep off UV and rain, and one really good made to measure tonneau cover used when towing or mooring overnight. I use all three covers when storing her, so she’s bone dry and out of the sun, preserves the gelcoat finish.Oars * 2Waders – for launching the boatTrailer wheel clamp and tow bar hitch lockBimini / Cockpit cover – quite rare, but a cockpit cover can be put up to keep out the weather when you’re out and about. I had a Sailmaker replace the front and rear clear vinyl panels, the side panels are usable but need to have the vinyl replaced as these have yellowed. Buying the boatThis is an auction and your bidding to buy the boat, so payment will need to be made in full when the auction concludes.I would be happy to show the engine running on muffs to any prospective purchaser – just get in touch to arrange a viewing prior to the auction ending.Sea trials – I would be happy to take you out in the boat from the Marina at Port Edgar, South Queensferry. This boat is my only joy in life but divorce is forcing me to sell everything I’ve worked for. I’m not bitter!! I last used the boat in the summer 2018. It is great fun, totally reliable, very fast and doesn’t drink the fuel. I used it for fishing, get out to sea and back quick. I fitted the Icom radio and antenna, volt meter, depth reader. The engine was serviced March 2018. The engine is a 90hp V4 Johnson, starts first time every time, I have total confidence in the engine, happy to switch it off at sea knowing it will start when it’s time to come in. Electric trim controls on the throttle and on the engine and alternator that you can monitor through volt meter on dash. Speedo and Rev counter work fine, as do the nav lights. The trailer is in very good condition. I replaced the jockey wheel and winch last year and changed the wheel bearings the year before. The wheels and tyres were new 2 years ago, all fine. The boat has the usual wear and tear as you’d expect from an old fletcher and the transom may need some attention as the engine is big for such a small boat. The deck was replaced before I got boat and the seats feel a bit loose but it alls fine when your flying across the water You could look at this bid as an engine and trailer with a free boat and radio!!! Of course you’ll get light board, fuel tank, and anything else I can find around the garage…, trailer straps, life jackets, I think there’s an anchor somewhere too. I have for sale my fletcher gto speed boat, after spending all winter doing a full restoration sadly I just dont have the time to finish it off.After buying the hull i found out like most old fletcher the floor rotten in places so it was all ripped out and a new marine ply was professionally fiberglass in (see pic). I then bought a 1999 mercury 90hp two stroke out board that is in really good condition to power the boat and is now and all running as it should with the first turn of the key. I have bought a lot of new parts for this boat as I intended on keeping it for my self that include: new seats, new marine carpet, automatic bilge pump (not wired up yet), new plastic fuel tank, priming ball and marine grade fuel line. All the interior has been stripped and new marine ply has been cut to shape then all re covered and refitted with stainless steel nuts and bolts. The trailer has had new mudguards, wheel bearings, wheels and tyres and a new winch. To finish this boat off I was going to fit new windows as they have faded (two removed but I have them for the pattern), it also needs a steering helm and teleflex cable which I have not got (about £130 for a new one on ebay) and it needs some rubber trims on the back. As you can expect from a boat this age id does have some marks and chips here and there. I have restored a few boats over the years and im absolutely gutted I dont have the time to finish this one off with just having my garden dug up and completely altered to make it safer for my little lad to play. RELISTED DUE TO TIME WASTER Fletcher cruisette boat with Suzuki 100hp v4 2 stroke.The boat is a good solid boat it has been resprayed at some point in the past and is all good apart from the paint as flaked a bit on the bow near the wind screen. There is plenty of storage space around the boat up the front there is a lockable cupboard. Under the helm seat & there is a lockable cupboard which houses the battery,f tank also in there is the electric cut off switch for the switch panel. There is nav lights deck lights a cd player. There is a navman fishfinder, anchor,fenders. Theres a couple fishing rod holders & a bait table.The engine is a Suzuki 100hp v4 which is well serviced the only bad point is the power trim and tilt is a little slow and temperamental due to lack of use but works ok once it’s used.The trailer is old but tows well it’s had new wheels & bearings last summer & used once since.This is a good all around family boat ideal for fishing or water skiing. Rides very well in the water due to the deep V hull, a known Fletcher design. Seats 4 people comfortably. Boat is in great condition for the year with the original gel coat and livery. Arrowflyte 140sl unfinished project comes with a Yamaha 60hp out board engine and twin axle trailer.I started refurbish this board about 5 years ago with good intentions to strip it out fit new carpets and seats. I only got as far as stripping it out and getting the engine up and running. I have to get rid now as have lost my storage place. Boat needs a full new interior.Engine ran about 2 years ago and has been in dry storage since.Boat is in good structural condition.Trailer pulls well I have towed it recently.
